A little over a month after signing an agreement with the Brazilian Air Force Command (COMAER) to develop a new launch area at the Alcantara Space Center, C6 Launch Systems has its first customer.

Canadian based C6 Launch Systems announced today that its Brazilian subsidiary C6 Sistemas de Lançamentos do Brasil (C6 Sistemas) will build a new launch area and expand existing infrastructure at the Alcantara Space Center (CAE) as part of an agreement with the Brazilian Air Force Command (COMAER).

While Canadian based C6 Launch Systems waits for the Canadian government to move forward with regulatory changes that will allow companies like C6 to launch in Canada, they are moving forward with preparations for their first suborbital test at a foreign spaceport.
