The Honourable François-Philippe Champagne, Minister of Innovation, Science and Industry, paid a visit to MDA’s headquarters in Brampton on Wednesday, August 17 to tour the facilities which includes R&D for the Canadarm3.

Defence Minister Anita Anand announced $4.9 billion in spending at CFB Trenton yesterday to upgrade and modernize the North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD). The upgrades include several longstanding wish list items including a Space-Based Surveillance System.

Changes to the space regulatory environment in Canada, including the Remote Sensing Space Systems Act (RSSSA), has and will continue to take time.
