This years Canadian Space Summit theme is LEO to Lunar and the program reflects this focus with sessions devoted to current and near term opportunities, as well as planning for longer term opportunities.

The Canadian Space Summit provided SpaceQ an opportunity to sit down with Ryan Anderson of SatCan for an update, to learn about a new E/PO initiative called Space Matters, and to get a quick first reaction to Amazon’s new Ground Station service.

While there are several space conferences of note each year in Canada, there is only one annual event at present that covers a wide range of issues in the civil, commercial and military sectors. That conference is the Canadian Space Summit.

The 18th annual Canadian Space Summit is beginning to take shape and will host three concurrent events in Ottawa between November 27-29.

The space community is using another opportunity at its disposal like never before in the form of the federal pre-budget consultations, to get its message out of a funded space strategy.

The Canadian Space Society (CSS) is moving forward with implementing a Space Policy Committee which was part of a strategic plan developed in 2017.

There’s something about Ottawa and the Canadian Space Summit. Each year the Canadian Space Society holds their annual summit in a different city.  However, as the Summit returns to Ottawa this year, there’s an expectation that the conference will deliver more, and it usually does.

This years Canadian Space Summit by the Canadian Space Society is once again being held in Ottawa between November 12-15 with the theme Canada’s Space Economy.
