Telesat U.S. Subsidiary Names Charles Cynamon as New President

Telesat Government Solutions, the wholly-owned subsidiary of Telesat in the U.S., has named Charles “Chuck” Cynamon as its new President.

Telesat Government Solutions focuses on  U.S. Government civil, military and intelligence sectors and Cynamon brings nearly four decades of experience with him including 24 years in the U.S. Air Force. He’s spent over the last 10 years working in industry including two years at MDA Information Systems LLC.

Telesat said that Cynamon most recently “was Senior Vice President at LinQuest Corporation, where he led the company’s largest division and the development of Allied Space partnerships that serve the National Security Space community and U.S. Government agencies.”

With his proven track record of building highly effective teams, forging strategic partnerships and capturing new business, he is the right leader to accelerate awareness and integration of Telesat Lightspeed capabilities with U.S. government customers.”

Cynamon will use his experience to sell the U.S.government on the merits of the Telesat Lightspeed constellation for the military, intelligence and civil sectors.
