Are you university student interested in some of the cool projects SEDS Canada has available? This Sunday, SEDS Canada will livestream teams who will share their insights after participating in the microgravity and stratospheric balloon experiments.

The livestream on YouTube is scheduled for Sunday, January 14, 2024 starting at 6:00 p.m. Eastern.

In their January newsletter SEDS (Students for the Exploration and Development of Space) Canada outlined the upcoming livestream follows:

“Two teams of university students will be presenting on their experience at this past year’s flight campaigns and the results they got for their respective experiments.”

“The first team is Mission SpaceWalker from the University of Alberta who participated in the Canadian Reduced Gravity Experiment Design Challenge (CAN-RGX) in February where students got to fly with their science experiment in microgravity aboard the National Research Council of Canada (NRC) Falcon 20, which has been modified for reduce gravity flight in association with the Canadian Space Agency (CSA).”

“The second team is StratoNeers from the University of British Columbia Okanagan who participated in the Canadian Stratospheric Balloon Experiment Design Challenge (CAN-SBX) in August where they launched their science experiment on a high-altitude balloon provided by the CSA.”

Upcoming National Conference

And just a reminder the SEDS Canada annual conference, the Canadian Space Conference, is later this month in Toronto from January 26–28. The local partner for this years conference is the University of Toronto Aerospace Team.
