As sea ice nears its maximum, it often begins to form in Canada’s Gulf of St. Lawrence. The Federal Government announced today that it will provide funding for the completion of the RADARSAT Constellation Mission (RCM). MacDonald, Dettwiler and Associates Ltd. (MDA) has signed a $706 million contract with the Canadian Space Agency (CSA) to build, launch and provide initial operations for the mission.
