Space Canada’s Spacebound 2023 industry conference began with a bang on October 18, 2023, when François-Philippe Champagne, Minister of Innovation, Science and Industry and Minister responsible for the Canadian Space Agency, announced $1.012 billion in funding over the next 15 years for the ‘RADARSAT+ portfolio.’

Space Canada’s second annual conference, Spacebound 2023, appears to be bigger than before. Certainly the venue is bigger: This year’s event, which is being held in Ottawa on October 17-19, 2023, is headquartered at the Canadian Museum of Nature, a larger facility than last year’s Bayview Yards location. NASA has announced that Germany is the latest signatory to the Artemis Accords.
