The not-for-profit Canadian Satellite Design Challenge Management Society (CSDCMS) has kicked off another round of the CanSat Design Challenge and the CubeSat Design Challenge.

A team of students from Concordia University won the third Canadian Satellite Design Challenge (CSDC), the second time a team from Concordia has won the competition. The competition wrapped up just over a week ago at the Canadian Space Agency’s (CSA) David Florida Laboratory in Ottawa. Space Concordia, as they are known, also won the inaugural challenge in 2012.

After two successful Canadian Satellite Design Challenges (CSDC) founder and manager Larry Reeves has announced that the 3rd challenge is now underway although they are still accepting applications.

The 2nd Canadian Satellite Design Challenge (CSDC) has a winner and it’s the University of Victoria. The University of Manitoba won the inaugural UrtheCast Educational Outreach Award.
