Exploring ocean worlds in the search for life

The Search for Life: Exploring Ocean Worlds

In our search for life in the universe our solar systems provides us with tantalizing options including several ocean worlds.

This past week NASA’s Jet Propulsion Lab Von Karman Lecture Series hosted Dr. Morgan Cable who spoke on the topic of The Search for Life: Exploring Ocean Worlds.

Here’s the lecture description: “The search for life is “civilization level science.” What happens if or when we find it? Using the upcoming block of “Ocean Access” missions, Dr. Morgan Cable shows us why ocean worlds are important and what the discovery of life could mean to us as a civilization.”

Enjoy.
