The Canadian Space Agency (CSA) has signed three agreements so far the 2018 International Astronautical Congress ongoing in Bremen, Germany.
Australia signs on
The first agreement the CSA signed was with the Australian Space Agency. There are no details at this time on the MOU other than a tweet which states “to deepen collaborative efforts in promoting the peaceful use and exploration of space.” Australia also signed at least one other agreement, with U.K., and has been very prominent at this years event.

JAXA agreement renewal
The second agreement signed was a renewal of an existing agreement with Japan’s space agency, JAXA for “(the) mutual cooperation in using satellites for environmental, ocean monitoring and disaster management.”

Commercial agreement with Moon Express
The last agreement the CSA has signed so far was with commercial startup Moon Express this morning. Read our detailed story on this deal which could see Canada sending hardware to the moon in the near future.
