This third day of the Perimeter Institute’s Convergence conference included a talk by Peter Olver and Ruth Gregory who explored the mathematical legacy of Emmy Noether and a Physics and the Future panel with Ian O’Neill, Immanuel Bloch, Sara Seager, Stefania Gori, Patrick Brady.

This second day of the Perimeter Institute’s Convergence conference included a talk by Sara Seager on Extrasolar Planets and the Search for Habitable Worlds and evening lecture by Jürgen Renn on the Genesis and Renaissance of General Relativity.

This week the Perimeter Institute of Theoretical Physics in Waterloo is holding its first-ever alumni reunion with a new kind of physics conference providing a “big picture” overview of fundamental physics and its future. They’re calling it Convergence.
