GHGSat is the beneficiary of another task order from NASA, this time through the Commercial Smallsat Data Acquisition (CSDA) program to provide methane emission data.

With the successful launch of the SpaceX Transporter-7 ridesharing mission early Saturday morning April 15, payloads from three Canadian companies made it to orbit.

GHGSat has entered into a data-licensing agreement with the S&P Global Commodity Insights to provide emissions data for the oil and gas industry.

If the launch schedule holds, by the end of this year GHGSat will have 11 of its initially planned 12 emission monitoring satellites launched.

GHGSat announced a new collaboration, this time with the Paris based International Energy Agency (IEA), making methane data from its constellation of emission tracking satellites available.

GHGSat has launched SPECTRA, a free version of its emissions platform. SPECTRA builds on and replaces the free PULSE service it launched in 2020. The move comes ahead of United Nations climate change conference, COP 27.
