RADARSAT-2 Image of City of Port-au-Prince, Haiti

The Canadian Space Agency has released the following RADARSAT-2 image showing specific locations in and around the capital city Port-au-Prince. The epicenter of the quake was just 15 kilometers from the capital and only 10 kilometers deep.


The red squares identify different locations in the downtown area of Port-au-Prince:
A: Presidential Palace
B: Port-au-Prince Cathedral
C: The Iron Market
D: Public Market
E: Canada-Haiti College
F: Port-au-Prince Airport
G: Ptionville
