Astronauts Wanted: Working Under Extreme Pressure

The Canadian Space Agency is putting the final 32 candidates under extreme pressure in recent tests.

It’s getting down to crunch time for the remaining 32 astronaut candidates. In this video of “Astronaut Wanted – Episode 3”, the candidates go through a second series of aptitude tests pushing them to their limits.

Every candidate is working to outperform the other candidates, while at times having to work in teams in some of the tests. Those who don’t crack under the pressure and work well in their teams will likely make it to the next round.

And the next round of cuts can’t be too far away as the selection process will be done by early summer so that the two recruits can head to Houston to begin their training at NASA’s Johnson Space Center in August.
