LAVAL, QUE. –  Canadian Space Agency (CSA) president Sylvain Laporte took the stage in Laval on Monday, June 17, 2019 at the Canadian Aeronautics and Space Institute (CASI) ASTRO 2019 conference with a very different message than a  year ago.

LAVAL, QUE. – The Canadian Space Agency (CSA) needs the space community to act soon as the agency decides how to participate in future European programs. Companies, educational institutions and other stakeholders have until June 28 to respond to a CSA survey sent out to the community, said Eric Martin, a program lead in technology development manager at the CSA.

LAVAL, QUE. – At least two new opportunities are forthcoming under the Canadian Space Agency’s (CSA) Space Technology Development Program (STDP) for companies interested in contributing to the future of space missions, a senior space agency official said Tuesday (June 18).

LAVAL, QUE. – Just three days after the launch of the RADARSAT Satellite Constellation (RCM) mission, another Canadian satellite, NEOSSat, a near Earth surveillance satellite, took a picture of a healthy RCM.

Canadian Space Agency (CSA) president Sylvain Laporte surprised the audience at the CASI ASTRO 18 conference with his talk. Expecting an update on CSA activities, the audience listened attentively when Laporte addressed “the elephant in the room.”
