The Canadian Space Agency (CSA) has released a new e-book titled The Explorers Club to the Moon aimed at kids, (pre-readers) and is the second in the series.

The CSA says the e-books “aim to encourage interest in space, learning and reading at a young age.”

The Explores Club follows the antics of Gemma, Niko, Layla, Mathias and their loyal doggy Chewie. In the second book “they fly to the Moon and back with the help ofย CSAย astronauts Jeremy Hansen and Jenni Gibbons.”

Recently the CSA held a launch and reading of the new e-book for gradeย 3 students from Cornell Junior Public School at the Toronto Public Library’s Cedarbrae branch in Scarborough.

โ€œJeremy told us that he had a treehouse too when he was young, and he turned it into a rocketship with cardboard and stuff he found on his farm,โ€ said a student. โ€œHe used his imagination to go on adventures and now he gets to go to the Moon! I’d like to go too!โ€
