MDA has filled its last senior executive position with the hiring of Dr. Minda Suchan as Vice President of its Geointelligence unit. Of note, MDA’s executive organizational chart (below) now has a 50/50 gender split.
Earlier this year as MDA restructured it created three business units based on its long standing work. The Robotics and Space Operations unit is based in Brampton, Ontario is and led by former astronaut Tim Kopra, while the Satellite Systems is based in Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue, Quebec and is led by Joanna Boshouwers. The hiring of Dr. Suchan to lead the Geointelligence unit now completes MDA’s executive organizational structure.
MDA CEO Mike Greenley said on the hiring of Dr. Suchan, โwe are delighted that Minda will join our executive team. With her impressive credentials in the intelligence community spanning engineering, sales and business development, strategic growth initiatives and acquisitions, she will be instrumental in positioning our geointelligence business to achieve strong growth, particularly in the global Earth observation and analytics sector. We look forward to Mindaโs engagement with our workforce and broad customer community.โ
