Maritime Launch Services (MLS) has stated it is going to select a launch site design team soon after issuing a request for proposals in June.

That and other details were in a Guysborough Journal article yesterday.

The company also recently unveiled a new website that features more information and graphics about the Cyclone-4M (C4M) launch vehicle.

As well, the website states that the company expects to break ground by the end of this year.

The Guysborough Journal also reported that “MLS hopes to have its first launch at the Canso Spaceport at the end of 2021 or early 2022.” The website currently states the first launch would be Q4 2021. It’s not surprising that the first possible launch date gets pushed back as MLS had to complete an extended environmental review for the province of Nova Scotia to get approval to move forward.
