
Canada will send its first astronaut, Jeremy Hansen, to the moon in 2026.
The current launch date, subject to change, is currently scheduled for no earlier than Wednesday, April 1. When Jeremy and his crewmates launch to the moon, they will be first humans to head to the moon since Apollo 17 launched on December 7, 1972, almost 54 years ago.
