It seems at lease once a week David Saint-Jacques is speaking to students in Canada about one topic or another. This week it was WE Day. It’s all part of the Canadian Space Agency’s outreach effort.

This past Monday astronaut David Saint-Jacques spoke to 2,000 students and educators during WE Day in Montreal.

Students and educators came from across the province of Quebec for WE Day. According to the WE Charity, “WE Day is an unparalleled celebration of young people committed to making a difference. WE Schools is the yearlong program that nurtures compassion in young people and gives them the tools to create change in their local and global communities.”

The day long event featured 29 speakers and performers including Saint-Jacques live appearance. The following day Saint-Jacques provided a pre-recorded french language version of his presentation. Below is his live english presentation.
