Next Canadian Space Commerce Association Meeting Speaker – Dr. Andrew Goldenberg of ESI

The next Canadian Space Commerce Association (CSCA) meeting is Thursday, November 11th from 7:30 – 9:00pm at the law office of Blake, Cassels & Graydon LLP, 199 Bay Street, Suite 2800, Commerce Court West, Toronto, ON M5L 1A9.

The guest speaker is Dr. Andrew Goldenberg (PDF), the founder and CEO of Engineering Services Inc. (ESI) and the Director of the Robotics and Automation Laboratory (RAL) and Mechatronics Laboratory (ML) at the University of Toronto. Dr. Goldenberg will be speaking on a variety of topics covering 30+ years of Canadian space history from his early experience at Spar Aerospace in the 1970s (where he worked on the building of the iconic Canadarm) to the recent awarding of three Canadian Space Agency (CSA) contracts to his scrappy little firm.
CSCA meetings are casual and provide the opportunity to meet like minded business owners, activists and new contacts from within our industry. They are called to order at 7:30 pm and the main presentation begins at 8:00 pm sharp. Afterwords we retire to a nearby establishment for more casual conversations and networking.
To attend please contact the meeting chair to RSVP before the end of the day on Tuesday, November 9th, 2010.
