Expedition 34 Undergoes Final Training Before ISS Mission

The crew of Expedition 34 completed their training in Star City on November 27.


Canadian astronaut and Commander Chris Hadfield, Russian Cosmonaut Roman Romanenko and American astronaut Tom Marshburn will be launched to the International Space Station on Wednesday December 19 at 7:12 (Eastern Time). Current plans are for the trio to return to Earth sometime in mid-May 2013.
Hadfield will become the first Canadian ISS Commander in March when the current crew abord the ISS – Kevin Ford, Oleg Novitskiy and Evegny Tarelkin – return to Earth.
