Next Generation Canadarms Unveiled at MacDonald Dettwiler Facility in Brampton

The next generation robotic arms to be used for future space missions were unveiled this morning at the MacDonald Dettwiler and Associates’ (MDA) facilities in Brampton, Ontario. The Honourable Gary Goodyear, Minister of State (Science and Technology) and Canadian Space Agency (CSA) Astronaut Chris Hadfield joined other government, CSA and MDA representatives to make the announcement.

MDA Signs Intelsat as Anchor Tenant for On-Orbit Servicing

MacDonald, Dettwiler and Associates Ltd. (MDA) today announced it has entered into an agreement with Intelsat S.A. as its anchor tenant for its Space Infrastructure Servicing (SIS) vehicle which could be in service by 2015. MDA Gets Next Contract in RADARSAT Constellation Mission

MacDonald, Dettwiler and Associates Ltd. (MDA) announced yesterday that the Canadian Space Agency has authorized MDA to start the design phase (C) of the RADARSAT Constellation Mission. The Canadian Space Agency Selects MDA to Develop NextGen Technology for Exploration

(MDA) announced today that they had secured a $46 million contract from the Canadian Space Agency (CSA) to develop next generation technologies and prototypes for future space exploration missions which could include Lunar and Martian orbital missions.
