Last week Dr. Sarah Gallagher of Western University was announced as the new Science Advisor to the president of the Canadian Space Agency (CSA).

This week I had the opportunity to interview Gallagher on her new position.

Gallagher provides more detail on the duties she’ll perform as well as sharing her thoughts on Canada’s space program and the news that a Japanese private citizen has purchased all the seats on a SpaceX spacecraft to go to the moon and back.

Also, she won’t be just advising the president of the CSA.  She’ll also be spending part of her time working with Canada’s Chief Science Advisor Dr. Mona Nemer, and other departmental Science Advisors.
